#iwill

The way in which we will deliver our services will closely follow the #IWILL six principles which will act as tools to assist young people to identify some of the key challenges they face in today’s society.

Reflective
Recognising contributions as well as valuing critical reflection and learning
Challenging
Stretching and ambitious as well as enjoyable and enabling
Embedded
Accessible to all and well integrated to existing pathways to become a habit for life
Youth Led
Led, owned and shaped by young people’s needs, ideas and decision making
Progressive
Sustained and providing links to other activities and opportunities
Socially Impactful
Have a clear intended benefit to a community, cause or social problem

In addition, we are adding two more:

Quality Mark
Ensuring we support youth infrastructure organisations with practical support and access to funding through a quality mark scheme that is recognised by the Charity Commission
Innovation
Translating the ideas of young people and our members into new methods of working to addressing the changing needs and environments of youth delivery
