Extra-Curricular Strategies with Schools

Expect Youth - with funding from the Doncaster Opportunity Area - are working with Doncaster Schools to help develop new strategies to increase access to extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities for young people in Doncaster.

A series of focus groups with schools have helped to identify challenges facing schools when trying to deliver a broad and diverse range of opportunities.

Expect Youth are working with local partners to map out providers of activities that work with local schools to help make connections.

We know that funding can be a barrier, we are researching potential funding opportunities to help enable new local collaborations.

Schools can now book a 1:1 with Jo McQuade, Extra-Curricular Education Manager, at Expect Youth, to discuss your plans to develop extra-curricular activities in your school or local community.

To make an appointment call Jo on 07737184292, or email j.mcquade@expectyouth.co.uk.
