Funding for Schools 

Expect Youth have been looking for funding opportunities for schools to help fund more extra-curricular opportinities in your school.  Below is a selection of what is currently availalble:   

Kellogg’s Breakfast Club Grants

The Kellogg’s Breakfast Club Grants Programme is offering grants of up to £1,000 to schools in the UK to set up Breakfast clubs for those children in most need. Schools can apply for an award at any date and will hear within one month if they have been successful. £500 Free Equipment to Deliver Outdoor Learning in Schools

Schools and Early Year’s settings can apply to Learning through Landscapes’ Local School Nature Grant Programme, to receive up to £500 worth of free outdoor equipment and up to half a day of professional outdoor training to deliver outdoor learning and play.  There will be four funding rounds throughout the year which will support a total of 900 schools. School Library £2,000 - £10,000 Scheme 

Foyle Foundation support state funded schools in the UK via thier Foyle School Library Scheme.  Funding between £2000 - £10000 can be applied for to set up, or develop a school Library.   Primary schools,  Secondary schools and sixth form colleges are eligible, but primary schools are a higher priority.  Nursery/early years only establishments are not eligable. Application needs to come directly from the school. 

The  fund can be use to purchase physical library/reading books and contribute to to e-readers, electronic resorces, Library software, IT equipment and furnature. To find out more visit: http://www.foylefoundation.org.uk/how-to-apply/state-schools.php
